School started late today at 9:30, I just could not get going.
We read the last of poppy this morning, sad and nice to be finished too. Nathan and Genevieve both enjoyed the books and would not mind reading the rest in the series.
Next up was math. Nathan struggled a little today, but managed to muddle his way through 2 pages.
We did not finish all of our mbtp activities before we had to go to physio so we are behind about a day or so.
Physio was good, Genevieve had a good time in her music class as well.
I sent a kids out to take ginger for a run before school as ginger has been getting restless while school is on and has started trying to chew pencils! So I think I will get them to take ginger for a walk before breakfast every morning.
Having a dog will really add to your "PE" time! ;) Does Genevieve's music teacher have some kind of description of the class? Or will she get a "report card" at the end of term?
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the photo of Nathan at physio. How has his Ehlers-Danlos been lately? Have the physio and OT been able to reduce the symptoms at all?
ReplyDeleteRebecca - I can ask her music teacher if she can send you a report card :) I will ask her if I can give her email to you and maybe you can let her know what you would like.
ReplyDeleteRachel - Physio has definitely helped reduce some of his symptoms. he made huge improvements in his core strength last year, that we could see in everyday activities. I believe that this is one of the main reasons Nathan is able to tolerate longer school days this year! He is making great progression in physio and is now working on strengthening his upper body, which will be no easy task. But we have been working on shoulder movements for swimming. And it is amazing what he could do this year compared to last year. Last year he could not do the armstroke, without popping out his shoulder everytime. This year I can do the movements dry (not in the water). We will be going into the water soon, and trying swimming some more.
