Tuesday day 6

Tuesday!

 

Tuesdays we are starting with Story of the world.  We read about India and the Citadels of the indus river.  We have been reading the chapter in story of the world and then doing the review questions and discussing.  We then looked at the map provided, and also looked at the globe and the map of the world, and found the indus river, as well as Mesopotamia, and ancient Egypt, and looked at how they used the rivers for roadways. 

 

 

next up was Moving beyond the page.  We read the next few chapters, and answered our discussion questions.  We then drew two pictures of good v.s evil.  The directions were to give 2 pieces of paper and without any other directions besides good v.s evil to tell them to draw.  Next up we did some poetry writing, Nathan and gigi enjoyed this exercise!

Nathan's good V.s evil.  He said see one has a smile the other is grumpy, hmmm, but that is okay, it meant he got to spend more time on math and writing his poem.


Next up was math, Nathan struggled a lot less with this!  yeah Nathan.  Gigi ran out of time, and did not do math today. 

Both practiced piano, before we left for piano lessons

so tonight at bedtime, both Nathan and Genevieve asked to do math at bedtime tonight.  Nathan wanted to do it so he did not have to do math tomorrow, and gigi just wanted to do it today and tomorrow....
